Healthcare is complex. It relies upon the synchronisation and smooth interaction of multiple processes and different healthcare agencies. Starting on the innovation journey requires an understanding of exactly where the issues, and opportunities, are. Delegates will develop action plans and learn the essential techniques for this ‘First steps in Lean’.

- Venue arrangements and other logistics for the Value Stream Mapping event;
- Stakeholder mapping;
- Data collection and measures (both quantitative and qualitative data);
- Managing the event;
- Post-event activity: prioritising and developing Lean projects for pathway improvement;
- Establishing project success measures.
