Description
Diagnostics, clinical tests and other vital support functions are critical in the effiecient operation of any hospital. They determine the speed at which patients flow through the pathways. Applying Lean in these support areas will have an immediate impact on areas such as patient experience, productivity and asset utilisation, inventory costs, staff morale, length of stay, scheduling and capacity-demand management and quality of clinical decisions.
Delegates will learn about the essentials of Lean techniques in these areas and develop frameworks that they can then apply in their workplace activities.
