Description
An unusual title and topic for a Master Class. Yet the fact remains that the road to attaining the benefits of successful and ‘authentic’ Lean can hide many traps and obstacles. In this Master Class delegates will examine the subtle, and not-so-subtle, issues that can inhibit, or even sabotage, vital change programmes.
Examples of topics covered are:
- Authentic Lean or ‘la-la’ Lean; what is the difference?
- Leadership in Lean: how to overcome the ‘killer’ language, behaviour and roles of all management groups;
- Empowerment of staff in Lean: easy to say but what does this mean in reality?
- Finance: making focused, evidence-based cost reductions and avoid ‘Slash and burn’ budget cuts;
- ‘Lean just another management fad’?
Planned dates and locations: Central London, West Midlands, Leeds and Bristol 2011 third quarter (July – September) 2011 fourth quarter (October – November) 2012 first quarter (January-March).
